I really wish it was harder to gain renown

I decided to play mount and blade as a simple trader. I was doing nothing to increase my renown to my knowledge, just killing the occasional bandit, and trading from town to town. Within 3 hours, I was already getting offers of vassalage, despite me trying very hard to NOT become known.

Even when i'm trying not to become famous in this game, I accidentally trip into stardom. Is there any way to play mount and blade without this happening? I have terrible relations with every king because I don't want to be a fucking vassal, but they keep spamming me with offers.

Dickplomacy Reloaded!

Hello everyone! :D I just made a mod, it's called Dickplomacy Reloaded. Basically it adds the functionality that you would find in normal mods, such as Dynamic Troop Trees, Custom Troop Trees, Freelancer, Tournament Play Enhancements, Single Screen Character Creation, and Rubiks World Map into Dickplomacy. ^-^ It also doesn't require WSE, but you still need the older (exe) version of Warband that comes with Dickplomacy. (Though I haven't tested it with the newest version of Warband so it might work.) Also, if you do decide to download it, please ignore (DO NOT USE) the "content options" folder, it is legacy, and the mod is compiled from source with all features. How do I get into the major leagues?

How do I get out of being classified as a minor faction? I’m constantly at war, usually fighting two wars at once with my immediate neighbors, and I’m starting to suspect it’s because the game still considers me a minor faction. I’m nearly clan rank 6, with three vassals and basically a good chunk of the Sturgian lands, plus Epicoratoa, and now I’m starting to push into Battanian lands, so I have no idea how I’m still “minor”.
