What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? [Guide] Downloading Visual Studio 2015 for modding Bannerlord

I had difficulty getting Visual Studio 2015 installed so I thought I'd make a guide for any others looking to learn C# to mod Bannerlord when it comes out. Keep in mind you must use the 2015 version to mod.

 

To start off with you must not have any version of Visual Studio later than 2015 installed. I had 2017 installed before so I just uninstalled it from the control panel and reinstalled it afterwards.

 

I was unable to find a link from the download section to the community edition but here is a link to the iso download on microsoft's website. When this is installed, go to your downloads folder, right click the file 'vs2015.3.com_enu.iso' and click 'Mount' (it may have a little disc icon next to it). If it doesn't launch the installer then navigate to 'This PC' on your file explorer and you should see the installer with your drives. Open it and run the installer exe. It may take a while in the beginning to start the install but just give it time. This should contain Update 3 for Visual Studio 2015 as well; when I tried to install Update 3 it said that it was already installed.

 

After you've installed it, go to the install location. The default is in the C drive under 'Program Files (x86)'.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Common7\IDE

This is the folder you want to go to. Inside you will find an executable called 'devenv.exe'. This is what you use launch the program. I just created a shortcut to it, placed it on my desktop, and renamed it.

 

Your Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition with Update 3 should now be working. If you have any questions just ask and I will try to answer as best I can. If you want to learn C# then you may want to take a look at this video. It's 6 hours but I found it to be very good.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
