"Rougelike" Mount and Blade

Seems like making a permadeath version of M&B would be interesting. Obviously, your ability to gain renown and XP would be far, far faster (much more easy come/easy go when it comes to just about everything) and those values I can easily mod with my current knowledge of coding.

I'm wondering if any creative modders out there has figured out a way for the game to either "force reset" to a new level 1 character with no relationships while not destroying the world, or barring that, just delete the save upon death.
