What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? They keep coming with 1100 troop armies and I keep destroying them, shouldn’t the...

Mod with the most convenience features?

Though I've owned it for 7 years, and though I've tried countless times with countless mods over the years, I have yet to finish a full game of Mount & Blade: Warband because the micromanagement drains me or the lack of an extremely useful feature found in one mod doesn't exist in another mod.

I've really enjoyed:

  • Companion auto upgrades / auto inventory management
  • Companions don't complain
  • Gather all companions in one town
  • Battle minimap always visible
  • Improved battle formations (Skirmish is awesome for mounted archers)
  • Obvious character creation (showing actual stats instead of "my father was a...". No more of this roll-the-dice stuff without knowing what you're choosing. I'm looking at you, Perisno)
  • (Minor, but noteworthy) A scrollable window that shows all banners to choose from instead of clicking through pages, more readable font, other tiny convenience/aesthetic changes
  • Cows follow you
  • Village Elder can be visited from village menu
  • Quests can be chosen from a menu or re-taken even if denied
  • Building your own fort or castle (Nova Aetas / Viking Conquest DLC)
  • In-game troop trees
  • Battle practice while at camp (practice commanding formations)
  • Better diplomacy
  • Better economy (buying land/enterprise)
  • Better tournaments
  • Pop-up notifications for attacks on owned towns
  • Auto buy/sell food and loot
  • Body sliding into a companion / battle continuation after death
  • Enemy/friendly health bars
  • Naval battles/ship travel (minor)
  • Works well enough with TweakMB to allow me to make adjustments to reputation gains and quest frequency (I'm impatient)

I've tried:

  • Silverstag (best so far, but now abandoned until Bannerlord, and companion upgrading is buggy)
  • Prophesy of Pendor
  • A World of Ice and Fire
  • A Clash of Kings (close, but the new companion upgrade "O" key menu is completely broken)
  • Floris, Floris Extended, and Floris Evolved
  • Anno Domini 1257
  • Nova Aetas
  • Medieval Conquests
  • Sword Of Damocles
  • Warband Enhanced
  • Diplomacy
  • Brytenwalda
  • Phantasy Calradia

I'm trying Perisno right now and it has most of the above - it reminds me of Silverstag - but it's still missing quite a few features that I was hoping for.

Any mods that anyone knows of that have all of the above features or close to it?

Thanks in advance.

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

TaleWorlds Forums

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
