Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Problem with recruiting lords?

Im my new game (1.5.10 beta) I am having an issue recruiting lords. I have several clans with very high relations yet whenever I ask a clan leader to join me everyone and everytime they respond with somthing to the effect of "Im happy with the lord I am serving and dont want a new liege."

Anyone else experiencing this? Am I missing something?
