Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Extreme lag spikes when opening menus

I used to be able to run Bannerlord perfectly, tried playing it again now after a pc upgrade and a few months but now every time I click on a town, person, inventory, just anything UI related, it lags really badly for a few seconds and it's so infuriating. Is there like some weird game option I have turned on or is this a common bug??

Any help would be appreciated!
