Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Extreme lag spikes when opening menus

I used to be able to run Bannerlord perfectly, tried playing it again now after a pc upgrade and a few months but now every time I click on a town, person, inventory, just anything UI related, it lags really badly for a few seconds and it's so infuriating. Is there like some weird game option I have turned on or is this a common bug??

Any help would be appreciated!
