Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Is there a mod that adds a sort of map coloration similar to the Crusader Kings series?

I’ve always thought this was something that would fit well with the Mount and Blade series and was wondering if there was a mod like that that would color the overworld map and change when territory was gained or lost by the factions.

This is for Bannerlord specifically.
