This is a pretty simple question of a mechanic that I ought to have figured out by now, and that is assigning territory. I am the king of my faction, and as king one of my responsibilities is to decide who gets to keep a castle after we take it. The process is always the same, three nobles are selected as candidates, the rest of the nobles vote for the one they think is most deserving, and then I pick the winner.
So, my question is, how does the computer decide who those three candidates are? I ask this because, there seem to be 6 clans which take turns as being the candidates. And I have a good 15 or so clans in my empire. (I probably should have looked up how many I have before making this post, but I didn't :( ) I have several clans with only 1 or 2 fiefs, and then I have these 6 clans with5 to 7 fiefs, with one clan (the old emperors clan) having 9 fiefs. Now, I would love to give my self more territory, but for now I would settle on just distributing it more equitably. How do I go about that? Thank you.
