Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. MUST-HAVE mods for a realistic - slow pace - tactical game?

So I want to start playing with mods for the first time. I'm looking for recommendations for 3-5 mods (don't wanna get messy) that can improve my campaign and battles.

I heard of - RTS camera + Calradia Expended + Realistic battles

Am I right? Is there anything you would add/change? Thanks
