Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. How to deal with armies in Prophesy of Pendor?

I know about kiting them to army of lords or becoming marshall myself, but is that the only way to deal with them? Right now I carry 150 top-tier civilian units (I can mix in some KO units too, but I'm trying to save them), and I can't even make a dent in the easiest of armies (e.g. mystmountain, snake cult), due to just severely outnumbered in the field. I might have 3:1 kill ratio but the moment their cavalry break my archer lines it's all over. Are they meant to be taken with a group of lords only? Or should I just not care about them?
