Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. Why are none of my mods working?

I am trying to play with mods and it seems as though not a single mod is working. None of the mods are updated, I'm just trying to understand if I am doing something wrong or if mods for this game are just outdated and do not really work anymore
