Disappointed Diplomacy

Just got back into the game agter the war sails expansion. And I am disappointed at the shallow level of fiplomacy still in the game. So many aded features and yet they could not add a truce mechanic...or even a way to influence nobles to change policy. Furthermore the changes they made are banal and redundant.. Explain to me why my "ALLY" Just deckared war on me after i PAID them 500k money to attack another faction. Keep in mind this was with 72 days remaining on the alliance. I want to make a great sword like a GREAT sword, I don’t know what I should do to make the strongest longest sword ever, I’m about to die and I want to pass down a sword with great stats and is also very long. Can u please help me make a good great sword

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
