Disappointed Diplomacy

Just got back into the game agter the war sails expansion. And I am disappointed at the shallow level of fiplomacy still in the game. So many aded features and yet they could not add a truce mechanic...or even a way to influence nobles to change policy. Furthermore the changes they made are banal and redundant.. Explain to me why my "ALLY" Just deckared war on me after i PAID them 500k money to attack another faction. Keep in mind this was with 72 days remaining on the alliance. Gekokujo Daiymo Edition Banner (Sashimono) Bug

Has anyone experienced this banner gltich while playing Gekokujo? Each lord's troops end up using this same White/Blue banner for every single faction.

No matter what version of Gekokujo Daiymo Edition I play, whether it be the Vanilla Version or the Reimagined Edition, this glitch happens every single time within the first in-game days, ruining my playthrough. I've tried reinstalling the mod and even reset my game files multiple times to get this fixed to no avail.

Is daiymo edition just broken? Any insight would be appreciated.
