ROT crashing, what am I doing wrong?

I thought it was the other mods i was using, but it crashes without the extra ones too. The place it crashes is right after the character creation menu once you pick your difficulty. Newest version of Eagle Rising? (or any other Roman mod)

I have heard different stories on where to find the newest version of the Eagle Rising mod, (or any other Roman mod that is better). Where can I find the definitive roman experience in Bannerlord now?

Is it locked behind Patreon? Or should i just use the old version from february 2024 on Nexus mods? That seems like an ancient version
