And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]
Hey everybody,
My absolute favorite way to play this game is through the separatism mod’s chaos start. It makes it so every land owning faction/clan (?) is independent at the start so instead of the huge kingdoms at the beginning there’s many many small ones.
I think it gives the campaign a real sense of growth and progress. It also allows a much easier transition from minor clan to kingdom because when you start a kingdom most other kingdoms are small too. It also makes politics and relations a bigger deal because you really interact with the lords around you more often than when they’re just 1 of many lords under the kingdom. It’s just great for many reasons.
The problem is the separatism mod is outdated and doesn’t seem to be getting updated any time soon.
Does anyone know a way, possibly through commands, to achieve the same effect? Or does anyone know how to take this mod and update it? Is that a lot of work? Is anyone willing to give me a quick intro to modding and explain how I could go about it?
