Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

Bannerlords minor factions what can we reasonably expect or wish for?

Just been curious about the factions in bannerlord especially the minor factions with the recent dev blog mentioning the "wolf skins".

While I have my hopes for a fleshed out minor faction mechanic someone brought what might be a healthy dose of skepticism suggesting that it sounds like the bandits from warband with a new coat (paraphrasing due to faulty memory).

So im hoping that its not the case but on re-reading the blog again with this new perspective and with the information given it sounds possible, albeit its early days and callums comments on reddit suggests we will hear more about the minor factions in the future. Whether this will be just setting the lore for the minor factions isnt yet clear or to expand on any existing mechanics or mechanics in development.

I hope for the latter. As it seems that theres alot of potential with the minor factions idea beyond a reskinned bandit group. In my initial read I gave in to thoughts of minor factions that make up the larger faction. with political aims too.

Ideas such as a minor faction that wishes to remove the current king in favour of his brother. Or can openly rebel against certain laws. Or a sub cultural group wishing to have independence or an oppressed cultural group wishing to reunite with its de jure owner. In faction skirmishes over who should own certain lands within the faction.

Though I admit its my love of ck2 that shines through here, I dont wish for anything nearly as detailed in that regards but something like this would really add some extra flavour to the game and really enhance the role-playing immersion.

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
