I've created my own kingdom, got 5 cities (Praven, Suno, Uxhal, Dhirim and Yalen). Took pretty much all of what was left of the Swadian Empire and took 60% of the Rhodok Empire of whom were the ones that I rebeled against. Swadia is no more and the Rhodoks are no threat having only Jelkala and 4 forts.
But whilst I was busy forging myself an Empire, the Khejit Khanates seemed to have gotten very power very fast. They had managed to take Veluca just mere day(s) before I reached the city as we were both taking swathes of the Rhodok Empire. To much of my dismay I realized they had Veluca, Tihr, Curaw, Khudan, Tulga, Ichamur, Narra, Halmar, Reyvadin, Durquba and Bariyee. (11 major cities - my 5) I'm not even exaggerating; however on the good news they've lost Tihr, Narra, Reyvadin, Durquba and this was only because the Norbs, Vaegirs and Sarranids were at war with them at the same time so they clearly stretched themselves too thin. Meanwhile I've been fortifying my major cities giving them garrisons of 200+ whilst my capital can have 300-400 whilst I'm crusading so all in all I have 2,000 men. I'm just wondering where to strike?
I could strike south and take Veluca - but then that would require a long journey to Halmar and beyond Halmar is Ichamur and Tulga. There is quite a gap between their land. I could strike closer to home at their 2 lone forts Rylibet Castle and Jelbegi Castle but that would then require me to journey all the way Khudan and Curaw. The problem is each major city has 400+ men but they are all far away from each other and I'm just afraid of being counter-attacked.
Or should I just invade the Rhodoks whilst the Sarranides are taking their eastern flank and ensure I get Jelkala?
Any advice would be appreciated.
