What happened with "Death in Battle" option?

Is it just me, or the option to toggle death in battle disappeared after Bannerlord has updated to 1.5.5 mainline today?

The 1.5.5 version became "stable" today, but the option to toggle death in battle completely disappeared from the Campaign Options menu. Death in battle, however, will still occur if it was previously selected in the older version save.

So... is it another bug or is it intended?
