Mods with only one Kingdom

I know the whole point of MnB is the chaos and politics of different kingdoms, BUT i was wondering if there are any mods with only one major kingdom or just 2 for a rebellion type playthrough. How do you leave a faction that you're the ruler of?

Long story short, Raganvad died, and I was voted new ruler of Sturgia. Except now I want to start my own kingdom, but I can't leave Sturgia. Both the "Leave Kingdom" buttons on Clan and Kingdom tab are greyed out. Is there a way to do this or do I just have to wait for an update?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that?
