Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. How do you leave a faction that you're the ruler of?

Long story short, Raganvad died, and I was voted new ruler of Sturgia. Except now I want to start my own kingdom, but I can't leave Sturgia. Both the "Leave Kingdom" buttons on Clan and Kingdom tab are greyed out. Is there a way to do this or do I just have to wait for an update?
