That's it. That's all I have to say. It's just really really impressive. If you haven't tried the retinues mod, then you should. It has 2 versions, one for war sails and for 1.1.12 or whatever the version most mods are on. It just works really well. It even displays modded cultures properly somehow. Hey butterlords, the Khuzaits always tend to steamroll every faction in my campaigns. So I decided to give them the Dragon Banner to eventually have all 3 Imperial factions declare war on them. I waited until the conspiracy quests began and I’m currently at around 1200/2000 for the conspiracy bar. My question is once all 3 Imperial factions declare war on the Khuzaits, can I leave the faction for them fight this war? Or will the quest fail? A bit of context. I love playing this game, it has incredible re-playability and for me this is a hallmark of a great game (around 1800 hrs plus). I have played Banner Knights only armies, X-bow only armies, Fian and Khans Guard only armies, Wildlings, infantry only armies and a mix of all the above. After a while they all become a little repetitive in setup, the composition below has been the most fun out of all the above by far. For about the last 2 years, I ignored Cav and just use Infantry and Archers, as archers were king and i didnt like having to micro manage cav. Watching them get stuck in infantry lines and dying was heartbreaking. Thats until one of the latest patches which enhanced Jav accuracy as we all know. I watched one of Tactical Enlightenments videos on the best Cav and he showed Faris stomping everything. I thought I would give them a try and Wow. I run 80% Vanguard Faris and 20% Manavilions, they thump everything. Faris will circle and chuck their Javs creating a...

Anyone else having this issue / bug in their playthroughs since the recent patch? When I start sandbox or campaign Penton is / has been recently captured. Normally they will respawn after a certain amount of time and start building up their army etc. But he just teleports between his holdings, never comes out and never raises an army (even years later) This creates a bit of an issue when trying to marry Apolatea as I am able to pass dialogue checks for marriage, but when I go see the big man (eventually appears in one of his fiefs for a day), he offers me someone else instead of "lets discuss marriage terms". Just to be clear, she is not a fugitive, married, or in an army, etc. Bit of a bummer as she has insane Engineering, Med and Steward stats. The settlements i build functions properly apart from one thing. They never get besieged. They have quite a lot of defenders so that might be why, the villages surrounding gets raided. Hello, im fairly new to bannerlord, but i have played warband. So in Warband, usually the companion with the higher skill in the party, would be in charge of that role. (taking over from the party leader for said skills). In bannerlord, there are roles in the clan which means the quarter master for steward, surgeon for medicine etc.. But what about the tactics and trades? Does autoresolve depends on your tactic skill, or the companion with the highest tactics in your party? I was exposed to this insane future world. John Connery world. Just chaos and robots and flying machines and all sorts of crap. I want to know everyone’s thoughts on the sling. I’m running a campaign with only slingers with RBM my little warband mods. I feel like they fire really fast and with the right sling ammo weight they really slap. Not sure if that’s because of RBM, but ive been enjoying it so far. My only complaint is that the throwing talent tree doesn’t offer more options for sling talents. Too op? Too niche? Just a bit of flavor to the game? Or a way of life? Context: Battanian noble, at war with Vlandia, I own Jaculan. I just defeated Derthert by Ferton (a bound village of Galend). After the battle, I rode over to Meroc, the village right next to Ferton, and fought another party there. After that battle, I went to Jaculan (Which is actually closer to Ferton than Galend is) and dropped off some prisoners. I went straight from Jaculan back towards Galend, and who do I meet before I even get to Ferton again? Derthert. The big buttery fuck. With a party of 180 troops already. I'm playing as Aelfeyja after retiring the starting main character very early into the campaign. To play as Aelfeyja, I married Nathanos to Aelfeyja, so she joined my clan. Pretty much the moment I began playing as Aelfeyja, Nathanos was begging me for a divorce. I denied him 3 times before finally agreeing to divorce. Then he married my companion, Tayla the Swift. Oh and he also got a different companion pregnant. Then he decided that he was done playing the field and wanted to settle down with a noble lady. And he chose his sister. This man has kids from 4 different women, one of which is from his own sister. Dramalord absolutely does what it says on the tin, add drama. I have player2. If I exit out of player2. Would that disable AI influence in game? The reason I ask is because in sieges and in battles AI influence completely causes the game to lag horribly. Meanwhile with chat AI it is not an issue. I prefer AI influence because there is much more you can do with it especially when it comes to role playing and influencing the map and not just the chat. The only other option for disabling it would be having to exit the game and turn it off and then go through the battle. Suppose you want to do 100% autoresolve and have no companion. If you solo or have a wife who cannot do or learn engineering, you can learn engineering by faking sieges. Is it dangerous to fake sieges? Yes, it can be. You can leave your siege any time, except that you will be disorganized. When a lot of enemies come to attack you, you will have to run fast. With close to 200 troops, I run a normal speed of 4.2. So, even in a disorganized state, I can outrun most armies. The problem is actually the spectators surrounding the siege. The AI will chain them up as if they are an army. So, you have to leave the siege early and quickly when there are too many smaller parties around. You can wait until a kingdom is being attacked by another kingdom, so it does not have enough manpower to deal with you. Or you can fake-siege a rebel clan that is occupying a town. If you have a very strong party of 300+, you can even set yourself as a trap. Leaving the siege will attract your enemy army to...

Problem is they aren't building any militia, at all. 16 loyalty, 278 garrison and 0 militia and 0 militia is spawning. Does that mean this town will never rebel? I like to have 5 groups of troops: infantry, archers, 2 cavalry, and horse archers. I set up the cavalry on either side of the infantry at the start. When the battle starts, the two cavalry groups tend to swap sides, running straight into each other and causing a massive traffic jam until it all sorts out. 550 troops in the garrison vs my 210ish in my attempt to retake Hvalvik. I'm playing an almost all infantry army with heavy duty nord toops, backed up by fians. Yes, it's a bit of a silly question. You see, what I usually do is download a Steam collection and sort them according to how they are in the collection. Apart from knowing the typical order of the first five mods in modconfiguration, etc.... But of course, my question comes now. I have downloaded mods from Nexusmod, I have no reference on how to install them, whether they work regardless of whether the mod is version 1.1.3 and we are on 1.3 or whatever, just to give an example. Is there a special mod launcher or something other than the one from Talewords? Does the order I put them in matter?
