Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Enlist mods

I found the enlistment mod in the steam workshop (and quite liked it so far), however on the Nexus for BL, there's both the Enlistment mod and the Enlisted mod. Now, what I wanted to ask - how are they actually different? Does anyone have any experience with these (like, which is better?) Thanks in advance!
