Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Ai influence question about disabling.

I have player2. If I exit out of player2. Would that disable AI influence in game? The reason I ask is because in sieges and in battles AI influence completely causes the game to lag horribly. Meanwhile with chat AI it is not an issue. I prefer AI influence because there is much more you can do with it especially when it comes to role playing and influencing the map and not just the chat. The only other option for disabling it would be having to exit the game and turn it off and then go through the battle. Or is there any other ways to disable the mod without having to go through the long process of exiting and launching the game ?
