Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. strange bug??

strange bug??

uhhh think my guy had a little to much wine

aAnyone have an idea whats going on here? never had issues then got War Sails dlc and this is happening. Also the "fill" option is bugged out for me and npc as stone piles and arrow barrels cant be used just bugged out and get stuck on.

Files are verified and re installed. no mods deployed
