Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Question about how to order mods and make them work

Yes, it's a bit of a silly question.

You see, what I usually do is download a Steam collection and sort them according to how they are in the collection. Apart from knowing the typical order of the first five mods in modconfiguration, etc....

But of course, my question comes now.

I have downloaded mods from Nexusmod, I have no reference on how to install them, whether they work regardless of whether the mod is version 1.1.3 and we are on 1.3 or whatever, just to give an example.

  • Is there a special mod launcher or something other than the one from Talewords?
  • Does the order I put them in matter?
  • Is there a problem with mixing mods installed from Steam and mods installed manually from Nexus Mod?
