Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Retinues mod has the most compatibility I've ever seen for a mod that does so much

That's it. That's all I have to say. It's just really really impressive. If you haven't tried the retinues mod, then you should. It has 2 versions, one for war sails and for 1.1.12 or whatever the version most mods are on. It just works really well. It even displays modded cultures properly somehow. It just works.
