So I gave in to buying Bannerlord after they removed from game pass. The game is very much a love hate relationship, nothing else seems to hit that spot. The updates the last year has given me more faith in the developers. Managed to order it cheaper on Amazon if anyone was having the same issue. One day I will convert to pc and finally have mods. Anyone got any ideas on how to keep my nord run fun? I’m really trying to avoid getting into that tedious kingdom/vassal never ending war. I’m currently thinking I’ll take a rebelled town near the nords when one pops ups, then just start a war with aserai and valandians as a clan and keep going by boat to raid and shit. Hopefully weakening them so much I might be able to take them as an independent clan. I’d appreciate some of your fun ideas for vanilla console. Would be cool to eventually form a kingdom and just create companion clans, marrying of my family to them, and instead of expanding just hold down our area till we are strong. Bit of ...
Hi all. I've been playing Bannerlord pretty much from it's beginnings on and off and pretty much always with some amount of mods installed, and never really had any issues.
Now I've decided to return to bannerlord after the War Sails dlc. I've installed the 1.4.5 and 1.2.5(warsails) versions and modded the game with a guide from the video - The ONLY Modlist You Need for Bannerlord (50 Mods, 100% Stable) by Strat Gaming Guides. I haven't installed all the mods from the guide but installed some of my own. Needless to say first few attempts to lunch the game were unsuccsessful. In the beginning the game wouldn't load at all, after removing some mods I was able to get into the campaign map but was running into the issue of game crashing during the dialogues (Turns out the issue was the Family Matters mod).
I was happy when I've sorted out those crashes and was hoping I'd be able to play normally, but it turns out the game now crashes when trying to enter the naval battles (Which are the key to my playthrough). It's getting increasingly frustrating and I'm thinking about abandoning the whole thing, unless someone on here has any idea on how to fix it. I don't know how to interpret the crash logs, but will be happy to provide them to someone who knows how to.
