Endless Snow - PS5

For the console bros, anyone else still having this issue? 80% of the battles I fight are in the snow, sometimes it even snows in summer in the desert. During the whole year you only get half of summer as 'snowless'. I switched back to vanilla bannerlord (non-war sails) and forgot how green and lush the scenery can be. Cav can actually charge, no more projectile and movement debuffs. This is so frustrating. Lads, Smithing! WTF is going on with pommels?

Im talking about 2 handed axes specifically as thats what I've had a good bit of experience with but perhaps this is true for the others. My question is WTF is the point of the pommels and especially the high tier ones?

I totally get in principal that they effect weight and swingspeed. They also factor into handling and damage too. But here is the thing...stats wise they seem to do litterally nothing compared to eachother besides cosmetic. And compared to no pommel its such a minor difference as to be unnoticed.

Does the ''feel'' of the different pommels exist cos I havent got the time to try that shit out. What is their point? Are they worth using? i dont care about material costs tbh at this stage of the game

A little recap is in order: last time we crafted every single possible weapon in Bannerlord, but ignoring guards, pommels, grips, accessories (From now on, "Parts 2/3/4")... and only switched between different blades/heads ("Parts 1"), which I expected to determine the overall worth of the item much more than the other parts (This proved to be the case, according to today's data).Furthermore, there were no changes in size at all, so all components were crafted only in standard size.
