[The old Realms] roleplaying as a repenting mousillion knight as my first playthrough...is there anyway for me to change religion?

I did not realise the race choice would have such an impact, it seems iam considered undead and a worshipper of nagash even tho i look human, is there a way for me to change religion to follow shallya for RP reasons?
