Is there a mod that changes the formation system to the one from Warband?

In Warband you would allocate troops to formations on your party screen. You could put individual troops in formation 1,2, 3 etc. In bannerlord it feels cumbersome having to do it in the battle deployment screen using the sliders. Is there a way to change this? submitted by /u/FingersToKeyboard [link] [comments]

Low FPS on new computer?

I've been playing this game for years and have never had a severe framerate problem like this before. I recently got a new laptop and whenever I try to play in singleplayer, I get roughly 22-31 fps on the lowest settings. I've noticed that other people have had a similar problem in the past, but I cannot seem to find any sort of fix or explanation. My processor is the Intel Core I5, but I cannot remember what version of the geforce gtx graphics card I have is. Submitted February 28, 2018 at 06:16PM by Howler452 http://ift.tt/2oym1sO

[TLD 3.5] Suggestions for winning the campaign?

Hey guys, Playing Imladris at the moment, we've destroyed Dol Guldur, Moria, and Isengard, but unfortunately, Gondor has also been destroyed. As a result, all of the evil 'Advance Camps' have been set up in Rohan. We're currently unmatched in power and sieging the camps constantly, but every time one gets destroyed, another pops right back up. It's getting really annoying, because it basically means the enemy factions have an unlimited number of settlements. Any way to get around this, or any suggestions? AWOIAF - Can you only have one child?

I had a kid with my wife, but I got a girl and my wife said that "girls should stay with their mothers." Now, there is no option to have another child. I just want to have my children as companions! Which faction was the first to get eliminated in your play through?

When I left swadia to start my own kingdom, I took over khudan and slowly but surely eliminated the vaegirs. However, if I didn’t originally join swadia, I feel like they would’ve been the first to go. Before I left they controlled 7 cities, now they own praven and a few castles lol Submitted February 27, 2018 at 10:20PM by Nlegan http://ift.tt/2GSkKUq

Perisno: list of enchanted items?

I've found a sort of helmet that gives me +3 ironflesh and a pair of leather boots that give me +2 athletics. I've also found a robe that increases first aid and a trader's outfit that decreases trade penalties. What I have not found is a place on the internet that lists the other enchanted items you can find in the Perisno mod. Have any of you found such a resource? So started playing perisno after awhile again...

And it seems that you need 15 relation with a town before you can start a enterprise now... Which seems pretty ridiculous ugh.. Is there any way i can change it back to the old version? Because i’ve been doing a lot of tournaments and have a pretty big amount of gold atm and i don’t want to run around with all that, as perisno can be pretty harsh. Where do faction names come from?

I recently learned about the Sassanid empire, which struck me as a likely inspiration for the Sarranid's namesake. Nords are self-explanatory. I also learned about a German province called "Swabia," which may have influenced Swadia. But where does "Vaegir" come from, assuming they're based in Eastern Europe and Russia? And the Rhodoks? From the Greek island of Rhodes (which I literally just realized is where Rhode Island probably got its name)? That doesn't make sense to me, seeing how the Rhodoks are generally compared to the Republic states of Italy. [PoP] If I take a city will the starting faction hate me?

I've never gotten this far into the Prophesy of Pendor. I'm currently a mercenary for Ravenstern. I just noticed that the Fierdsvain captured Senderfall from Ravenstern. I believe I have the forces to capture Senderfall. My plan is to wait for the end of the month prompt to re-up my contract as a mercenary and decline it. Then I wish to take Senderfall. it makes sense to me that the Fierdsvain would not like me as I took their city, but would Ravenstern the original owner of the city hate me as well? Any and all advice is appreciated. I searched the subreddit and the wiki but couldn't find what would happen anywhere. Submitted February 27, 2018 at 02:52PM by GrehgyHils http://ift.tt/2CM5hTn

Calradic Campaign #26 - Operation Overnord

A wind over Calradia’s Northern coast turned towards the ocean   The most valuable asset of the Nordic King was in need of repair. While it maintained strength enough to raid coastal settlements, the longship fleet was unprepared to face further opposed landings, the King’s favoured method of assault. In his characteristic monotone, King /u/Smug_Alpaca instructed his shipwrights to dock the fleet and begin construction on a series of landing craft. He told his men of his planned reconquest of Tihr from the Swadians, and was met with grand applause from the frenzied warriors. Swadians, it was shouted, looked like girls, and surely Nordland belonged to the Nords! As soon as the fleet was ready they would set sail and land their siege equipment against Tihr’s walls.   These rallying cries did not go unheard by Swadian scouts. Despite the immense burden of their riders, the weary horses bore their messages back to Praven, where they were wheezed past dairy stores into the Swadian war

Guides/Suggestions for AWOIAF?

Why do am I unable to loot a defeated enemy if they attack me while I'm raiding a village?

This seems very dumb to me, how even when I beat a Lord who attempted to stop me from looting a village I get nothing from actually winning the battle and it cuts right back to the campaign without allowing me to loot. Quick PSA: If your troops have a weapon that deals both blunt and some other form of damage they will not use that weapon if you order blunt weapons only

I tested this in Floris by equipping my companions with a Goendang, which is basically a stick with a spike on the end. Thrusting damage is pierce, swinging damage is blunt. I told them to use blunt weapons and they all switched to their fists. A few with clubs switched to that. If anyone would like to test this with other modules/weapons/troops feel free to add your findings. Submitted February 25, 2018 at 10:37PM by Teh_Compass http://ift.tt/2oxhcPO

Im doing a challenge where I exclusively only recruit sarranid units with some merc exceptions. It seems getting the Mamelukes is the only concrete strategy, but it feels like a cheese whenever I do it. Alayen was one of my vassals of my own faction. I said was because things gone bad and he chose Vaegirs and we became mortal enemies. In some battle, i won and captured Alayen. I did and then got attacked by 200 troops. I retreated and it said I lose 3 guys and some morale. Next thing I know I have 17 guys left even though I never engaged in battle? Wtf? [Viking Conquest] Army Size&Troop Composition and Formations

I have played through the storymode of Viking Conquest and I am now close to finishing it (as a Christian, so no pillaging monasteries). However, I struggle with two things: First, there's my army. I never seem to have enough money to keep more than around 100-150 troops in the field. Sometimes I manage to have enough money for a few more (for instance while I held a few villages and one castle as fiefs), but mostly I'm strapped for cash. However, I only have investments in two cities, averaging about 1000 pennings/week (brewery and something else), so investing in more of those seems reasonable. But I'm also not sure how big my army should be and what troop types it should contain. So far the lack of money wasn't much of an issue, as I only had 3 or 4 ships anyway, but I guess if I want to conquer my own kingdom after the story is over, I guess I need more of them. I was thinking about invading Friese, as they are out of the way and should be the easiest ones to

So how do you make the Cavalry form a line facing the enemy? I have tried every command and they dont form a line, the most they do is turn their horses backs to the enemy and turn their body towards the enemy in what would be a very uncomfortable almost 180,and yet i see vassals in battles form a perfect line and charging just fine. Did a quick calculation of Taleworld's burn rate for a different thread to see when they MUST release M&B:II

TLDR: TaleWorlds has (very roughly) 3-4 years to release Mount & Blade Bannerlord: II before they burn through their funding. Here's the back of the envelope calculation: Lets assume TaleWorlds was perfectly efficient and used up all their previous funding in order to release Mount & Blade: Warband TaleWorlds sold roughly 6-7million copies of Mount and Blade Warband on Steam at $19 (We'll say 6.5M). That's an initial revenue of: $123,500,000 EBT which is not bad at all. Steam takes 30% so now they have: $86,450,000 EBT which is still not bad. But keep in mind that there is tax on that. The corporate tax rate in Turkey according to KPMG has averaged about 22% over the past couple of years so lets use that. Now they have: $67,431,000 Amortizing that over the 8 years since its release you get: $8,428,875 / year which is a pretty average revenue for a medium sized company. TaleWorlds has 102 employees as of 2016. Now not all of these are devs but f

How should I be playing this game?

I just started getting into this, and while I love the mechanics so far, I feel like I'm missing out on what it is I should be doing so my experience has already become kind of boring. Basically I make sure I have a dozen or so people with me (any more than that and I seem to get very little to no renown in battle), beat up some bandits, buy goods I can sell elsewhere for more money to build up my bank, do the quests where I bring letters and back and forth, then inevitably I lose a battle, which usually means losing a second battle after I escape because now I don't have my horse and all the money I got ends up going towards new troops and equipment. So at the moment, all I'm able to really do is slowly build up renown and xp (though I'm at level 11 and the cost of another level has already become exorbitant). For a bit I tried having around 20-25 troops, but I would hardly gain any xp or renown so it seemed foolish to do that even though I was winning battles more

Hi! I am currently looking for a game with fun melee combat mechanics and fun gameplay in general. I need something to bridge the gap until DS1 comes out in May. Why ouuuuh why...

I really love this game. But I suck @ it big time. Yesterday, I finally (for the first time ever) build an army with 30+ soldiers (and some of them were hired mercenaries, crossbow pros). I went around for more loot. Killed some badits.. then I thought that I will go into the kingdom my beloved fraction is in war with.. and attack a village. Done it.. got the village even without a fight, the peasants were just afraid of me. Yes, great!!!! Then, I see 5 big armies of the enemy closing on my position.. was trying to escape, left some soldiers behind.. did not help.. now I am alone... again.. somewhere in the middle of nowhere.. what to do? what the fuck.. have to start again.. or what.. oh no... oh why oh why.. Are there real advantages to making your companions into vassals?

In past games, I've given my loyal companions fiefs and turned them into vassals. The assumption being they'd support me. That didn't work out so well. They start with a high relationship, but that gradually erodes like any other lord. I've had them defect and even faced them in battle. So, what's the point in making them a vassal? They're just like any other lord. The point to keeping them is that they are usually pretty bad-ass by the time you're a king and they can help with battles more than any other single unit. How exactly does the Trainer skill work?

I know how it works with the amount of XP per troop that is a lower level than you or the hero, but how is it assigned? I tested this once a few years ago and the results seemed to show that having a larger army meant more troops leveled up at the end of each day, which suggests that the XP is being pooled in some way instead of given directly to each unit from the hero. PRO TIP: Hunting Troublesome Bandits quest

This is the quest the guildmaster gives you 60 days to complete. You DON'T have to start hunting yet if you don't want to. Just stay in the town that gave you the quest (and have a decent stat in the Spotting skill. The bandits ALWAYS return to the scene of the crime. Sometimes it will take a week or so. If it's been a while, asking nearby villager bands and vassals that frequent the town is fine. In rare cases, the troublesome bandits might get intercepted by a kingdom's vassal or manhunters. The bandits should be between 10-30 strong, with all mounted, but it might be based on the player's current level. Regardless, you should have a fast map speed of 6 or close to it, otherwise try to let them get REALLY close to the town you're in. Starting as a lord

Some mods let you start as a lord. Being that lord players do not get frequent quests from other lords like mercenary players do, this seems like a bad idea if you plan to start your own kingdom because you can't farm relation points by doing quests like hunt down the outlaw, collect taxes, etc. I'm currently playing 1257 AD as a spanish mercenary and it's just boring as hell at the moment; I am working for Castille who is at peace and the only quest any Latin lord will give me is from the dishonorable ones who all want me to attack Bohemia for some reason. Basically my question is: is it absolutely necessary to start as a commoner/mercenary etc (if you want your own kingdom) to get relation points? Or is it viable to just swear vassalage and look for the odd prison break opportunity? Here's hoping Bannerlord addresses this awkward transition from early game to lordship. I've put 1,500 hours into this game and I'm out of things to do, and mods to play.

1,500 hours in and I find myself bored. I spent the majority of my time in Prophecy of Pendor with Warsword Conquest coming in at a close second. I just wanna thank the makers of both those mods for giving me so much entertainment over the years. You guys have made a hell of a world to immerse myself in and I've made countless characters in both mods. I used game editors to cheat myself some powerful items just for the lulz. (Making a weapon with speed 300 and charging into ranks of soldiers is how I get my "Blood for the Blood God" on). Made some faction soldiers just super OP and yet still see them get rolled by other factions. I conquered Pendor 3 times, on the final one I used an army of over 1,000,000 snake cultists. Burned the Empire, Ulthuan, Brettonnia, then vice versa, hunted Chaos into extinction with an army of Grail Knights. Now I find myself just lacking any sort of interest in the game, I feel like Umbra from the Elder Scrolls series and now seek an honor

I don't even know if it is doing anything at all. I can get a report on how many conversions have happened from my minister but it is a number without context at all. How many people are in a village? How many in a town? I can't build religious buildings in a castle fief, so does conversion apply to them? My relations have stopped taking a hit, but I can't tell how much time remains until my chosen religion is the dominant one in any given fief. If anyone has had it work for them, what sort of timeline are we talking about? Months? Years? Is this feature actually working or is it just a broken side gig meant for flavor? I just exited out of Pendor and decided that the mod isn't for me. I found it too difficult, even though I saved often here and there to prevent being mauled by 500-man demonic hordes. I found that I usually only got 4 or so kills per battle, as opposed to in Floris Mod, where I found myself able to get significantly more. In that mod, I was able to start my own kingdom, however, it got repetitive with constant battles with lords trying to take my castles. It also got meaningless because it got easy because of constant saving. I never really got too far in a game, in that I never did end up getting married. I'm thinking of starting a new game with iron man mode to play humbly, as opposed to creating my own kingdom. I've never played in Iron Man mode. Do you guys recommend it? Which mod is best to use with it? I have Floris, PoP, AD 1257. How does one survive in Iron Man Mode? Tips? Submitted February 19, 2018 at 07:26PM by SeeNoHearNoReality http://ift.tt/2BEICeL

Four years to make conversational animations.

Hey, basically the title. I was looking through old blog posts to find this for another post when I came across blog 7 (published May of 2014) which says, among other things The results in game are already fairly astounding, bringing characters to life as they squirm and grin accordingly during conversations. They won't just be visible in conversations either; battles, town scenes, feasts, prisons and everywhere will all feature animated faces. Now, late January of 2018, we were given this blog about conversational animations. Note that this says they made the improvement to the dialogue system and doesn't make reference (at least from what I saw) to animations elsewhere.   Best case - They've finished all of the facial animations. They've had one guy working on handcrafted animations the past four years (the screenshot in dev blog 7 shows two people but the one in the background appears to be working on something else) and making them appear where they'r

What mod should I go for?

Hi guys, So... been playing M&B since forever but the last, lets say, 7-8 months I haven't touched Warband. Just reinstalled it through Steam. I don't really like that battle formations mod thing and I will probably be playing Native if I don't find anything more interesting. Thing is I am looking for something easier just to pass the time. Something that will not take me IRL weeks to be able to have a good army and a solid chance on becoming king without being utterly destroyed after revolting. Would you guys recommend anything? Any Ancient/Tribal mods out there?

I have played a lot of warband with many mods galore. While I know I've probably only scratched the surface of the gigantic pile of varying quality mods out there, I have had trouble for a while just looking for a tribal based warband. I've seen the aztec-ish empire you can discover in Nova Aetas, and I've seen the plains indians in the 1860's Old America mod. But I would really like to see if there are any mods that take place either in ancient "and/or unconquered" mexico, or ancient pre-colonization Africa. Thanks! khergits

as a khergit i have always thought about horses, deep thoughts. they always seemed like beautiful and magnificent creatures. i also felt strange attractions towards them since i was 5, i was a small child i did not understand or think that it was wrong. the rhodok, vaegir and swadian kids made fun of me at school but they could not kill my attraction towards horses, magnificent creatures. when i was in my early teenage years i was invited to a party in veluca. there were some girls there but they were real whores, the others made fun of me because i was khergit, so i left and i returned back to amashke and went to the stables, the only place where i felt safe with my horse. i was always curious and confused and always wanted love, but i didnt get it, my mother left me in khergit steppes when i was only 5 month old, so. i went into the stable, standing infront of my favorite mount, i went closer, whispering into its ear "yuo are my real love" then i turned around, bending ove

Prophesy of Pendor VS Floris Evolved VS Diplomacy

Guys, I am still very new to the game, but I really like it. Want to start a new game with some mods, which improve the overall game (like stats screens etc). Not sure if I need a more complicated game, but not sure if I really am so deep that I can tell (maybe after a few more hours I will start to hate some features of the vanilla game, who knows). So... for a newbie.. which one of those 3 should I chose? Definitely, dont want to get overwhelmed by new features please. : ) Prophesy of Pendor VS Floris Evolved VS Diplomacy Thanks a lot! POP really don't see how to hold a castle

I've finally gotten to the point where, with some opportunism, I can take a castle. But it seems like a largely pointless effort. While I can't muster my own nation to sit still long enough to siege any territory to save my life, the second I take an enemy fortress in my liege's name, 1400 troops descend upon my castle to take it (and no one has any interest in helping hold it). It's happened like 3 different times in different fortresses and it's infuriating. In this case it's a castle the enemy recently took. Every war my faction seems to lost a castle due purely to the fact that the enemy piles around its marshall in a doomstack while my allies scatter around and get captures. It's put me at pretty much dead neutral progress for like 6 gameplay hours. At this rate my faction will just fade away and I'll have to start all over building relations somewhere else. Bit of guide for new player?

Hiyo. I just binged out on 50 hours of Kingdom Come Deliverance, and I keep seeing M&B being mentioned in the same sentence. I realized i have M&B Warband, but have tried it a few times and just get stuck with no direction. few Qs for a new player if that's ok, I want to give this another whirl! Are there critical mods I need? What are some goals I can set for myself of just things to do (I think I was trying to get my warband up in size, but that was never terribly interesting)? Any skill/build traps to avoid? Thank you kindly! Submitted February 19, 2018 at 07:59AM by FirstSonOfGwyn http://ift.tt/2GrqAM6

PoP - I end up with too many fiefs while fighting for a claimant

In Warband, I had to option to defer the appointment of fiefs for a later time. This meant I could conquer a few castles really quick and then get to recruiting lords whom I would reward with the recent lands I conquered. There isn't an option to defer granting fiefs in PoP. So I'm gonna need like an extra thousand troops to garrison all my castles and cities if this keeps up, not to mention the huge tax inefficiency I'll probably have when the rebellion is finished. And nobody wants to join a rebel with only a city and a couple of castles. So I need to get some fiefs before trying to recruit lords. So where do I go with this? Just keep recruiting troops and conquering everywhere and end up with a kingdom where I own half the fiefs? If I keep beating their armies maybe that'll convince them to join me? I have around 40-60 relations with half the lords so do I keep capturing and releasing them until some sweet spot like 80 or something? I'm kinda stuck. Submit

I started this playthrough to conquer the whole map and I've never seem such AI aggressiveness. At first I thought only small factions were getting wrecked but after many elimination screens I decided to see how many factions were destroyed and started paying attention to the map. Mameluks single-handedly obliterated the Crusaders, Castille (don't know how they left Iberian Peninsula) demolished Polish Principalties while Sweden went full Poland and now half of it belongs to Denmark and the other half to Holy Roman Empire. I would like to see more works done by him/her/them. How long did it take you to get into Warband?

So I played about an hour and a half of M&B: Warband today and couldn't find anything fun about it at all , so I refunded it. Now that it's a few hours later I'm beginning to regret that I didn't at least push right to the 2-hour refund limit. This game has so many good reviews that I really don't understand what I'm missing. It seems to be 99% combat, and the combat is just awful . I don't get the appeal of this game and it frustrates me that I don't get it because so many people clearly like it so much. So what I'm wondering is if this is a game that you really need to spend 20 hours in before it starts to become fun. I've read a few posts by people who were immediately drawn in for 12 straight hours in their first session, but I'm not sure if that's the common response or if these people are unusual. Does the fact that I hated the first hour and a half just mean that this game will never be for me, or is it normal to have to pe

I've been anxiously awaiting the new mount and blade by playing warband a lot and I think at this point I'm kind of wondering which modules you guys have had the most fun on. Questions about 1257 AD

So this may be my favorite mod that I have ever played, largely because the setting lends itself better to my imagination than other mods (love medieval history) and I can play as somebody who I am actually invested in. I just have a few questions. Is it worth it to download the subversion in 2018? I have the 1.13 angry peasants edition, but I have still noticed some minor bugs slip through the cracks, like after defeating an enemy, I am prompted to continue the battle with my retinue versus 0 enemies (easily fixed by entering the battle and leaving). So as I understand it, the subversion allows the mod to update automatically, should I get it or is it obsolete with 1257 being finished? Is it normal for all of the cities to be impoverished? I understand that many despots simply wouldn't give a fuck about the peasants but cities like Venice should not be described as "unbearable" in the cities screen. Has anybody tried this submod? What do it do besides change

There are a lot of things people are hoping to see in Bannerlord. I don't think this has ever been mentioned.

War Elephants . Okay, so when I searched this sub I actually found one post asking if it would be possible (and a bunch about the Floris mount, but that one is kind of silly) so it's not true to say it's never been discussed, but I think it's under-discussed. I want to start by acknowledging that doing this right would be a huge undertaking. It couldn't just be a reskin of horses. Not only because elephants are much larger, but because of how they are used tactically and operationally. A horse carries one guy, but an elephant carries a small fortress garrisoned by a handful of guys. Using elephants properly could have impacts not just for how mounts have to be scripted, but on the very structure of how a party is built. The mount/troop relationship would have to change from 1:1 to 1:M. There's also the historical nature of it. M&B has always been medieval in style, with the factions more-or-less representing western Europe (Swadia), eastern Europe (Vaegirs

Focus firing, and unit micro on the battlefield should be introduced in Bannerlord.

I was watching some expert level Age of Empires 2 gameplay, and it occured to me that the level of individual control that players have over units makes for very interesting and high skill ceiling tactical play. For example: You have a small army of archers, you use your superior movement speed and range to kite around infantry, focusing them down one at a time, making a cost effective engagement. when I play warband with archers, I tend to just camp on a hill and wait for infantry to arrive. I think it'd be really cool, and a deep gameplay mechanic to be able to instruct your soldiers to attempt to focus down a particular enemy unit, such as a lord, or butter knights, or what have you. In that way, smart, high-skill engagements would allow skilled players to enjoy greater success with less that stellar units. What are your thoughts? Perisno: Town sieges last more than an hour?

I'm finally getting around to joining a faction and taking part in the campaigns. The first time I joined a castle siege, it went pretty well even if I did get knocked out after successfully getting myself on the ramparts. Last night I took part in a town siege and it lasted maybe two hours. Now I'm engaged in another town siege and I've already waited an hour. Is this normal? In both town sieges, I got knocked out early, so there's nothing to do but watch my colleagues climb the ladder and get chewed to hamburger by those bad-ass dwarves. It gives me time to do other things (like I want to do other things), but surely sieges should not take more than an hour, no? Also, I played a mod that, when I was knocked out, I took over a companion or soldier during these long sieges. That was a brilliant idea. Not only making the siege more interesting, but giving me an opportunity to see what it's like to be a different troop class. Submitted February 14, 2018 at 05:2

Floris question: retaining towns when starting your own kingdom?

About to start my own kingdom, currently a nord vassal that owns Suno, Uxkhal, and Praven. Given how these 3 are a close cluster I was hoping to retain them when I start my own kingdom, and I was wondering if in floris there was a way to do this. Rocket Artillery!

Everyone's favourite foreworks. What are your stories, experiences, tips on this often neglected piece of artillery? Personally, I think its potential is not truly recognised and that if properly used it can be highly effective. My quick guide for using rockets in commander battles: Rockets can't be used like a cannon; they're only effevtive up close, so you have to stay with the infantry. Make sure there is an infantry regiment diagonally in front of you to draw enemy fire away from you. Stay mobile: Be ready to pack up and reposition as soon as the tide of battle sways either way. Use the high rate of fire to your advantage. Try to find cover: Is there a rock or tree to set up shop behind? Perfect! For some reason, you only get a handful of rocketeers, no idea why cannons and howitzers get a whole bunch of guys with guns, but rockets only a few (albeit impeccably dressed) swordsmen. So, make sure they're well out of the enemy's firing line, if necessary behind

The state of KC: Deliverance gives me hope for Bannerlord.

I dont know if you guys played this yet. It is a fun game but it has an EXTREME lack of polish, and its plagues by bugs all over the place. Taleworlds are also an indie company making a very ambitious game, perhaps the reason this is taking so long is because they want to avoid releasing a buggy mess like KC? As fun as it is atm it really is detrimental to the experience how many bugs there are not to mention performance issues and clunky mechanics. I've no doubt that in a few months/a year this game will be incredible, after optimization and fixes (and mods), but I'd hate for Bannerlord to be released in this state, KC is not worth the full price and has the quality of an early access game. Kind of an immersion-breaker when there is a guy screaming "Muhammed is God's prophet" in the background in Arabic. Perisno: Finally beat the Valahirian warlord, Gunnar ... in a really odd way.

Nodah, in the Voldeberg tavern, asked me to help the Illica Falki. I took a long time to accept the quest (level 24) because I didn't want to upset the Reich des Drachens. The first few task battles were manageable, but then it came time for Gunnar ... who kills the Illica in a most unusual way. I took my army of 125 elite bad-ass soldiers straight at his army of 100. They're all foot soldiers. My army is 75% cavalry. It did not go well. I try again and this time give my soldiers orders first. That failed because I have no idea how to give the buggers orders. [Side note. Viking Conquest is downright awesome when it comes to ordering your troops on the battlefield. It's really tough to figure out at first, but then it clicks and suddenly you're Alexander.] Next I tried luring his band toward another group of baddies, hoping they'd fight it out. Nope, they totally ignored one another. I tried luring them toward their hated enemy, the Illica. They ignored them, too
