Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Keeping my wife in my castle?

Hi there, I just came back to play this game due to some laptop issues and wanted to wait a little longer for more updates so I might be lost with this.

How can I keep my wife in my castle? Used to leave her there, even assign her as Governor and then remove the title, but now whenever I leave her at my only castle (Caladog is a shitty King) she stays there for one-two days and then moves to Pen Cannoc which is not mine. She is Idrun, and good fighter but she's carrying my baby and as immersion I wanna keep her safe while I go venturing hoes and taverns into war.
