Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. How is Bannerlord now? Stop playing 3 months after release

I haven't played since about 3 months from release. The big thing I know they were working on was the AI snowballing hard by their self, kinda of making it unplayable.

I got the itch again to just kill endless people, and was wondering what has been updated/changed/added/subtracted since I stopped playing, or if you could point me in the right direction to look!
