Any way to assign only certain troop types to a formation?

Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. Death at childbirth for the player character?

So I have noticed that female NPCs can die while giving birth.

I play a female character who is about 37 YO and about to give birth for the 5th time (hope I get twins this time lol), so I am curious:

Did anyone ever have their female main character die during childbirth?

Does anyone know if death at childbirth chances rise as the character (NPC or not) ages?
