Could someone summarize the major changes to Bannerlord since launch?

I bought Bannerlord on the alpha release day and had fun but remember a lot of things were broken. Exploits were everywhere, many skills didn't work and were difficult to level up, sieges were broken, the main story didn't work, etc. What should I know before playing again? What's changed? Is the game in a good state right now?
