Hi new player here, question in the title. Let's say I only want my Swordsmen in Formation 1, is there a way to do this with any granularity? I know there's the small icons which allow you to set "preferred types", but is there any way to do it with a bit of precision? Or a mod which allows this? Thanks in advance. I was attacking a castle recently and went to put up the ladder immediately as usual, but as I'm climbing, I look to my side and my surgeon with no combat skills is the first one up the walls. Luckily he didn't die in that battle but frequently in large battles I see my specialty companions (surgeon, engineer, scout) fighting on the front lines, and die. Is there some way you can keep them out of combat? Or is there some way to really boost their combat stats? I already dump tens of thousands of gold on armor for them but it doesn't seem to help.
