Party speed

I just started a new vlandian sandbox run. Usually I'm battania. I feel my party speed is to slow and am chasing bandits all the time. I got a lot of pack horses and verb working in trading to raise funds also fighting as mercenary. What are all the steps for maximum party speed optimizing as vlandian? Started a new playthrough

Running through as nords this time. I dress as a top tier troop so I'm running around in banded armor. I had to step away from the swadia playthrough. It's just a matter of time before I end up sweeping the land. I'm going to play around with the nord one. Take my time. Currently my plan is to go from nation to nation every year or two just like Wolfs Dragoon's. Then after my RTR hits like a 90 I'm going to make my own thing.
