Party speed

I just started a new vlandian sandbox run. Usually I'm battania. I feel my party speed is to slow and am chasing bandits all the time. I got a lot of pack horses and verb working in trading to raise funds also fighting as mercenary. What are all the steps for maximum party speed optimizing as vlandian? The game should have assassinations

Hear me out, you should be able to assassinate lords but it should be very expensive and the more troops in the party the lower the chance of success. Also if you fail you have a chance of losing a lot of relation with lords.
