Party speed

I just started a new vlandian sandbox run. Usually I'm battania. I feel my party speed is to slow and am chasing bandits all the time. I got a lot of pack horses and verb working in trading to raise funds also fighting as mercenary. What are all the steps for maximum party speed optimizing as vlandian? Companion wages mod

I'm hoping somebody knows a mod that lessens the companions wages. Not companion party wages, I mean their actual wages when in your party. I've got the unlimited companion mod and wanted to do a party of 20-30 but it's turning out to be unfeasible in early game. They have high tier wages while still being lvl 10 XO.
