Party speed

I just started a new vlandian sandbox run. Usually I'm battania. I feel my party speed is to slow and am chasing bandits all the time. I got a lot of pack horses and verb working in trading to raise funds also fighting as mercenary. What are all the steps for maximum party speed optimizing as vlandian? Is warband better than bannerlord?

I was playing warband due to it being on gamepass, I had played freeman guerrilla warfare (mount n blade with guns), now i usually don’t care too much about graphics but seeing the bannerlord was out I bought it.

Now when I look I see a lot of people saying that it isn’t as good and all, is warband better?
