What should I do here?

I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire. I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate? And where do all their troops keep coming from? They keep coming with 1100 troop armies and I keep destroying them, shouldn’t the...

Does anyone else try to beat Native Warband, get frustrated and quit, only to try again months later?

It’s just… there are so many things nonsensical, and frankly terrible about Native Warband, that every time I play it ends up giving me huge headaches.

Like I just want to give up when I see minor lords rolling around with over 150 troops when I can barely muster any. I want to scream at my screen when I see how long it takes to build Siege Towers, I want to go to Taleworlds HQ and ask why the battle ends right after you get knocked unconscious, and why all my troops suffer from depression.

The fact that all lords know when a town is being sieged, and target the player’s fiefs over others.

And then there’s the little things. The silly music in this game about killing people and selling them into slavery. The sadistic cattle mechanics. The bipolar town Guildmasters who are apparently ok with you not killing all the looters only to get pissed when you fail. The fact that you have to keep a checklist to figure out which lords are assholes and not.

And yet I periodically feel compelled to return to this game, because it feels weird to play Bannerlord when I haven’t beaten Warband. Native is terrible, but it is the real game, even Floris is just a mod.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Prophecy of Pendor - Early Game Guide

I love PoP and think it's the best thing since Sliced Person, but the early game is bloody brutal, especially if you're used to kicking ass and taking names in M&B vanilla. So I wanted to write an early game guide to share my experience and hopefully help someone else get into the mod without as much agony as I (and many others) experienced. Character Creation - Questions When you start character creation, the game hits you with a bunch of background story questions. My advice is to answer these however you like, building the backstory for your character that interests you and helps get you into the story. However , these questions have serious impacts on the game, most critically whether you can create Knights of the Griffon chapters with just money, and something called the Rumor Interval which sounds irrelevant but is the most important thing ever . For a deep read on the subject see the wiki https://pop3.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Creation Or for a quick "Just...

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
