Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Istiana’s plan

So i got the dragon banner became a mercenary for the khuzaits and gave it to the leader, im hoping the 3 kingdoms attack him for the free real estate that comes after its destruction. after the meter finally builds up but will that war end or will they keep going until theyre destroyed? Also anyway to speed up her plan? its been almost 200 days and its barely at 1500.
