You people disgust me!

All I see on this sub is, "How do I kill my wife?", "How do I kill my King?". What happened to loyalty? What happened to romance? Maybe I'm just a simple man, but when I play this game there's a few things I do no matter what. I team up with CalaDawg and teach Dirthead the ancient Battanian technique of projectile induced dismounting. And I marry a nice Sturgian woman who I will love and protect until the day I die. Under absolutely NO circumstance do I use javelins for evil. God help any poor foolish AI who dares to capture my wife, because it won't be long before their head rolls. Call me old fashioned but I take the sacred vows of marriage seriously. submitted by /u/Friar_Corncob [link] [comments]

Newbie questions

  1. Joined a kingdom as a mercenary, I think the king said something about rewarding me 250 every time I do a service for the kingdom, something like that. Did nothing and got nothing for a while, but then I participated in a siege defense and we won and I see my income has 3900 daily from mercenary contract now, how does that work? How long does it last and/or what do I need to do to upkeep it?

  2. After that defense battle I bought a brewery with all the money I got from it. It has a warehouse, can I put the raw materials in for them to use (if I find them for cheap) like in warband? Or what is the function of it? Anything I need to know or do for a business in this game?

  3. How do you increase how many companions you can have?

  4. I know some horses can help a little increasing campaign map speed, but do Sumpter horses and other pack animals reduce speed?

Thanks for answering any of the above that you know!

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
