Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Can’t support defenders after siege begins old realms

Whenever I try to help they instantly sally out even if it’s 400 vs 1500 is there something I’m doing wrong or is it just the problems with the mod
