Declared war on allied mercenaries on load save?

I’m playing as southern Empire, have the Hidden Hand as mercenaries with a couple of their parties in my army. I started a big battle late at night, so half way through quit to go to bed, knowing I’d saved right before the battle anyway like a good little save scummer. Now when I reload any of the precious 3 autosaves I immediately declare war on the Hidden Hand and their parties abandon my Army. Old Realms not working

Old Realms not working

I have built the shader cache, (for some reason im always loaded into a battle when its finished?). I only have the 3 old realms mods loaded along with the essential ones for all mods.

However I keep getting this error. Does anyone know how to fix this?
