All I see on this sub is, "How do I kill my wife?", "How do I kill my King?". What happened to loyalty? What happened to romance? Maybe I'm just a simple man, but when I play this game there's a few things I do no matter what. I team up with CalaDawg and teach Dirthead the ancient Battanian technique of projectile induced dismounting. And I marry a nice Sturgian woman who I will love and protect until the day I die. Under absolutely NO circumstance do I use javelins for evil. God help any poor foolish AI who dares to capture my wife, because it won't be long before their head rolls. So I'm new to bannerlord. I've watched content creators for months but I recently started it. Could someone help me with what are the best units?
Also, I see a debate whether to use dedicated infantry or no. I as of now, use the Empire's elite infantry which I grinded by hunting down single lords and other mercs. But I also read somewhere that it's just better to get heavy cavalry and use them as Mobile infantry and dismount them when needed. Should I replace my infantry with cav? And if so, which one?
As of now, I use Empire's elite cataphracts as cav (no horse archers), Battanian Fians/Fian champions as archers (yes pure Battanian archers) and Empire's elite infantry (I don't remember the name. The left one on the tree. I think they're called imperial legionaries).
My army comp is like 60-65% archers, 30-35% infantry and 5% or so cav. Should I change this? And should I replace all my infantry with elite cav? I can grind, no problem.
