Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. Mount & Blade doesn't start on Windows 10.

Does anyone know how to make this game work on Windows 10? Right now it wouldn't launch. Steam is displaying error code 53. I've tried compatibility modes, obviously, and verifying game cache, as some users suggested. Unfortunately, to no avail. The last thing I want to do is refund this old masterpiece, so any help would be appreciated.
