Monchug was feeling generous today.

I'm playing with some mods that heavily restrict recruitment, so my army is almost entirely bandits and mercenaries. On land, Monchug's army would destroy mine, but this isn't a land battle and he gifted me several amazing prizes. [Viking Conquest] Ulf's Farmstead

I've tried getting past this mission so many time, but my forces are always crushed. Does anybody know of a way I can get better troops without an extreme grind at this stage in the game? Any advice on how to get past this mission would be helpful.
