Why did I decide to sign up with the northern empire as a Merc whilst they were fighting the Khuzaits? I've never fought them before and the one time I don't go with a decent horse rider because I want to fight on foot, this happens. Hello r/mountandblade, I have been playing Warband for some years now. I took a long break and have begun to play again last year. After playing for a while I have managed to become a monarch in singleplayer. I marshalled majority of my realms strength; we tried besieging a castle with about one thousand soldiers. I myself brought an army of around six hundred well trained soldiers. After an hour of fighting, my entire host lay dead upon the cities defenses and the enemy victorious. I'm never going to be able to recover the strength I previously owned. Any advice to rebuild my armies and capture this city? Thank you.
