Just came back to bannerlord 1.3 something after two years

And I love every improvement or changement so far. Well I am 1 hour into a new campaign but I liked th new stealth system and just looking at the encyclopedia relations seems a bit more complex. Loved also the new small things such as troops shouting down your orders. So far soon cool BUT There is one thing which really suck for me and that is the new light system. I really can't see shit in battles, unless with a sun shining at midday. Other than that impossible to fight in the shadows at dawn or even afternoon. And I can't tell if the ai is better or I simply suck. Please tell me there is a fix to this because battles are just becoming a frustrating nightmare... submitted by /u/Plopita [link] [comments]

Whats up with people complaining about bannerlord recently?

It seems like every post on bannerlord on this sub there is a bunch of comments complaining about it saying Warband is better than it in its current state. While I do agree with things like the seige AI that really should have been fixed by now I feel Bannerlord is an improvement over Warband in a lot of ways (System UI, Combat, Ragdolls e.c.t.) as well as the complaint that its taking too long, does anyone remember how long it took for Warband to be fully completed? From first release to the current version it took around 4 years. My point is in this is that I know we all have the nostalgia of the old games but can we at least give the new ones a chance?

Back when Bannerlord was announced, I vaguely remember that, in the announcement thread, people were discussing the choice of the title "Bannerlord." Does anyone else remember that? It was a useless topic to discuss, but I kept coming back because I was so hyped about the game and was hoping for more information about it.
