Why did I decide to sign up with the northern empire as a Merc whilst they were fighting the Khuzaits? I've never fought them before and the one time I don't go with a decent horse rider because I want to fight on foot, this happens. So i ticked on hero death because i want there to be actual stakes in battle (a be able to kill enemy lord without the execution debuffs) but literally as far as i know one person has died in battle in the long campaign i have had and it was a less family member of one of the clans that follow me. I’ve literally seen my hero companions get rekt in the most brutal fucking ways and there fine in like a day. Is there a way to make it more realistic? I understand they cant die at the rate the regular army does because that would mean all lords would die but give me something here
