I hate Horse Archers

Why did I decide to sign up with the northern empire as a Merc whilst they were fighting the Khuzaits? I've never fought them before and the one time I don't go with a decent horse rider because I want to fight on foot, this happens. So I know you have to have a feif and what not I'm clan rank 4 and when I go to my governor it doesn't give me the option to even start it I'm willing to go to war just want my own kingdom but won't let me Btw I'm in sandbox mode
